Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies

step 1.

Add brown butter, brown sugar, and white sugar to a mixing bowl and beat until well combined. Beat in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract.

step 2.

Add in half of the flour and all of the baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix with a rubber spatula or mixer until just combined.

step 3.

Slowly add in the remaining flour and stir until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips and pecans.

step 4.

Chill the cookie dough for at least 30 minutes. Scoop the dough 2 inches apart onto the baking sheet. Bake at 350F for 11-15 minutes

Allow the cookies to cool on a wire rack and enjoy!
